What can I say about this buck... I am so blessed to have him in my herd, I actually turned him down the first time I was offered him as a 2yr old (I had his sire) but was not going to be so foolish a 2nd time! He is truly a Once in a lifetime boy~not only for his bloodlines, Amazing relatives but it is his personality both in and out of the show ring! He is a total ham loves to show off and strut his stuff hates to be on the sidelines and expects to have everyone's attention. This year as a five year old I took him to 2 shows he won all 4 Champion Challenge classes for Best of Breed X4 and a Best of Show!! His daughters are sporting very promising udders and I hope to have many of his genetics for years to come!

~Best in Show Ring 2 Shelby NC 6/4/2016 Despite having a hoof abscess blow out Chipper was such a trooper and had his 1st defeat in ring to J-Nels LY Zoolander (still won 5 out 6 Champion Challenges in 30 days) but went on to win again in ring 2 ! Thankfully farrier Andy Painter handled him in the 2nd ring and showed me his hoof issue! I knew he was in pain but suspected a sparing with his buddies~ he will be treated and hopefully recovered for the fall buck rut shows!

Gem Legacy is one of the last Gem son's living and even at 10 yrs old he has kids still hitting the ground! At the last minute I brought him along New Years 2017 weekend to the Bang For Your Buck show in Carrollton GA. Where he was 1st place X 4 in his class and Res Grand under Karen Smith. He had the potential to do even better but the old man is not fond of a collar and lead and refused to walk properly. All 4 judges expressed how impressed they were with his feet and legs and gave him multiple opportunities to strut his stuff but he was determined to imitate a vacuum cleaner...
